At the heart of our group are monthly dinners for 30–40 people at some of the best restaurants in New Jersey, along with occasional smaller
by-invitation dinners intimate enough for everyone to share one table. We also mix things up with unusually fun experiences that I personally curate. I also host a backyard party twice a year, which we love...
Over time, I’ve built a friendly welcoming community, with many people returning again and again - and we love welcoming new people. Whether you come on your own or with someone else, the idea is simple: great food, interesting people and experiences worth getting out for.

Lisa’s End-of-Summer Backyard Party: Live Music, Great Food & Good Company
Location not specified yetSeptember is the perfect time for a backyard party, this year Matt Hartke will bring the musical magic!
I recently discovered Matt on Spotify and he absolutely blew me away. After learning more about him, I was even more excited to have him perform for us. Matt is a recording artist and platinum-selling Billboard Top 40 songwriter from Verona, New Jersey. He writes his own music and puts a fresh, reimagined spin on favorite cover songs. As a songwriter, he has written for Adam Lambert, The Chainsmokers, Avicii, Max Martin, and many others—and now we get to enjoy him in the intimate setting of our backyard party.
Our gatherings have everything people love — great food, music, plenty of wine and beer, cornhole for those who like to play, and lots of new and familiar faces to spend the afternoon with.
This is the perfect chance to connect with people from our amazing Meetup group and meet new members – all in a lovely flower filled backyard setting.
I’ll be organizing everything from the menu to the setup and so… there’s nothing to bring except yourself!
Come for the music, stay for the food, and enjoy another memorable afternoon with great people. This backyard gathering is not to be missed!

Food & Drinks: A generous buffet with a variety of favorites with non-meat options available. There will be a variety of beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Cancellation: If something unforeseen comes up and you can’t attend, the LAST DATE FOR REFUND is September 4. If plans change and you cannot attend you’re welcome to find someone to take your place and simply notify me of their name..
Note re Weather: This is an outdoor event, and the RAIN DATE is Sunday, September 20. If you know in advance that you can only attend Saturday, please understand that no refund will be issued if the event is moved to the rain date. You’re welcome to give or sell your spot to someone else and let me know their name. I’ll monitor the forecast and make the final call by September 17. If both dates are rained out, and you cannot attend the new date, a full refund will be provided.
