Sun Assabet Rail Trail Acton - Maynard - Acton

This is a leisurely walk along the Assabet River from South Acton to Maynard Center and then back again. There will be a coffee shop/ restroom break in Maynard. Please meet up at the South Acton Commuter Rail parking lot by 10 AM. We will take off at 10:10.
The parking lot is located at 4 Central Street. Parking is free Saturdays and Sundays; M-F is $5 (paid by credit card at a kiosk). From there we will cross over the tracks via a bridge to the Assabet River Rail Trail.

Group rules:

• Please keep in mind that all events are led by volunteers.
• You must be signed up to attend an event.
• Wear proper footwear and clothing for the weather and terrain.
• Bring water.
• You assume all risks when participating and must follow all instructions, rules, and regulations of the hosts, venue, and local authorities.
• Group leaders and participants are not liable for any harm or injury.
• Come on time. We take off 10 minutes past the starting time.
• If you sign up for an event but will not be attending, change your response ASAP.
• Check Meetup for cancelations and changes in meeting times and locations before each event.
• Spread out and stay on the right side of the trails.
• Be kind to one another.
• Do not feed the bears.
• Events may be rescheduled or canceled due to the weather, check for updates!
