My name is Dr. Cecilia Lopez. I have a doctorate in counseling psychology, I am a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT 104025) and I have been practicing therapy for almost 8 years in the South Bay Area. I currently run a private practice in Los Gatos and work at a non-profit as a clinician. My main concern is helping others take charge of their lives. I provide groups and workshops that all have the same goal: Helping people be the BEST versions of themselves and live the life they desire. I specialize in anxiety disorders but also have immense experience working with those struggling with stress, depression, bipolar disorder, anger management issues, psychosis and more. I also have a special fondness for those wanting to start a transition regarding their career, health or living an overall meaningful life.

My groups and workshops will focus on restructuring thoughts, emotions and behaviors so you may better manage mental health challenges and undesirable behaviors. Groups and workshops may focus on various topics such as:

-Stress management

-Anger management

-Anxiety management (including OCD, PTSD, GAD, panic)

-Depression management

-Bipolar management

-Psychosis management

-Interpersonal and social skills

-Grounding skills

-Mindfulness practice

-Life balancing of mind, body and soul

-Various support groups such as LGBTQ+, depression, bipolar, and anxiety

-Transitions in career, health, relationships

-Self-esteem development

I use mindful awareness in my everyday life and have been teaching and guiding mindful meditations since 2019.
