East Bay Square Dance with live music by Round Top Stringband

Caller Connor Maguire is coming to town to call the East Bay Square Dance in February! Get ready for some hot fiddle tunes and fun dances! No experience necessary; no partner necessary. Kids welcome. The caller teaches each dance right before we dance it.
Friday, February 20th
Doors open: 7:45 pm
Square dancing: 8:00-10:00 pm
This is a queer-friendly event. Role-switching is encouraged!
BYOB: You may bring beer and wine. No hard alcohol allowed.
Wear dance shoes if you have them! No stiletto heels allowed.
$20 general admission
$15 member of Hillside Club or of BACDS
$25 supporter
$6 student or low-income
or pay what you can
We accept cash and venmo at the door.
This is a traditional or old-time square dance (not a modern or club dance). All dancers are welcome.
There is an old-time jam for musicians before the dance, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, in the small room near the front door. The jam is free. If you join the square dance, please contribute.
