Welcome to Art Club, where creativity is the name of the game!
Join an Art Club event to tap into your creativity while connecting with others.
Throughout the event you will be guided to making your own original art creation. And what a better way to get creative than while sipping on a coffee (or a beer, let's be real lol), and meeting other people.
Each event is centered around a theme, which is explored through different techniques and materials. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s about creating something uniquely yours.
We encourage everyone to experiment, play, and let creativity flow. You’ll be amazed at what you can create!
When is Art Club?
Art Club events are hosted once or twice a month.
Where is Art Club?
Art Club takes place at Leidse Lente, in Leiden. It's a bar, restaurant and a cultural venue.
You're welcome to order any drinks or food during the event and enjoy what they have to offer on their menu (Good to note whatever you consume is not included in the price of the ticket).

Who is it for?
Art Club is for anyone – whether you've always wanted to try your hand at arts and crafts but never dared, or you're a seasoned artist looking for a creative outlet. It's a welcoming space for all, where the only goal is to have fun and explore your creativity!
Materials:
All art supplies are provided and included in the event price. If you prefer to work with your own sketchbook or materials, feel free to bring them along!

Your host is Mattie (@mattie_art on Instagram), a passionate creative with a love for bringing people together through creativity.
Mattie has hosted many art events and workshops throughout the years. Her goal is to create a space where attendees can express themselves and let their inner artist play, as well as make a fun and laid back atmosphere.

Why Mattie founded Art Club
Mattie founded Art Club to provide a (safe) space where people can tap into their creativity while enjoying a relaxed, fun, and social atmosphere.
Mattie truly believes creativity is something everyone can benefit from, as it's a fantastic way to unwind as well as express yourself. It's something most people wished to do more, but sometimes are not sure where to start, or how to go about it. That's where your host comes in.

Make your own Christmas card - go cheeky or cute, it's up to you!
Leidse Lente, Haagweg 4A11, http://galeriecafeleidselente.nl, Leiden, NLJoin the December Art Club and get into the Christmas spirit! We will be making Christmas cards - but the real goal is to tap into your personality and express it through your Christmassy creation.
This means you are free to go as cheeky or as cute as you feel like with your card. Bad Santa vibes? Why not. Super cute Whoville vibes? Sure, go for it. Our host will guide you to make you own unique creation, whatever that might look like :)
We will mostly be working with collaging during this session.
