Austin Design Jam x CTRL+Y

Join us at the April ATX Design Jam to support our newest spotlight nonprofit, CTRL+Y.

CTRL+Y is an Austin-based nonprofit with a big goal: to strengthen public safety operations by developing innovative, state-of-the-art software solutions that empower local and state agencies to better serve their communities—at no cost.

Their first app, Bishop, leverages AI, machine learning, GPS data, drone technology, and solid human-centered design principles to support communities and agencies during search & rescue missions in the event of natural disasters or other emergencies. We'll have teams working on a logo redesign, wireframing features, and more at this fast-paced event.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or are just starting out in the field of UX, visual design, or design thinking, or are just design-curious, you are welcome at the Jam! Bring your laptop and get ready to collaborate with colleagues, share ideas, eat free pizza, and have serious fun making the world a better place.

We'll be at 1218 WEST AVE., BUILDING 3000, across the street from the ACC Rio Grande main building and just a block from free ACC garage parking. Street parking also available. Look for our signs!
