What we’re about
Google Developer Groups (GDGs) are communities of developers who are interested in Google's developer technology. GDG Lawrence is a local chapter of GDG, based in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
The GDG Lawrence community is made up of developers from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels, who are interested in learning about and discussing Google’s developer technologies and products. These may include technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Flutter, Android, Kotlin, ML / Al and others.
GDG Lawrence likely hosts a variety of events (on a recurring basis; in-person, online and hybrid) including meetups, hackathons, and workshops, to provide opportunities for members to learn, network, and collaborate. These events may feature talks by industry experts, demonstrations of new technologies, and hands-on coding sessions.
Overall, the GDG Lawrence community is an inclusive group of individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to share their knowledge and experience with others, while creating a more welcoming environment for all members, including minorities and underserved communities.
