About us
The Daily Grind Coffee Roasting Collective is a space for anyone who finds as much joy in the process of roasting beans as they do in the final cup. Whether you are currently roasting at home with a professional machine, a modified popcorn popper, or just starting to experiment with green beans in a cast iron skillet, we are here to share what we have learned. We focus on the craft, the science of the roast, and the nuances of different origins, rather than just the final product.
We meet regularly to swap techniques, troubleshoot tricky batches, and host informal cupping sessions to compare our results. Our goal is to build a supportive community where we can troubleshoot our profiles and learn from one another’s successes and mistakes.
