Welcome to the Mindful Moments & Memorable Headshots Meetup Group in Cardiff! This group is for individuals who want to:

Our wellbeing meetups offer a unique opportunity to cultivate presence and manage self-talk, promoting openness and compassionate connection.
Weather permitting, we hold our outdoor sessions in Cardiff to tap into nature's wisdom. With guided prompts, we ease into genuine conversation—there's no pitching or forced introductions.
By combining mindfulness with a smartphone photography workshop, we learn to capture moments and see new perspectives through small shifts in light, composition, and framing. 📸

We'll also offer paid events, which are designed to be a unique blend of a relaxed mini-photoshoot and calming, mindful moments. You'll leave with two high-quality digital photographs for your professional and personal use. Bollywood Beats: Rhythm, Joy & Letting Go
roath park lake, roath park, Cardiff, GBWe are excited to welcome a special external facilitator, Salma Sharieff of @desi_groovers to guide us through an afternoon of vibrant Bollywood dance.
This session is designed for creative expression and freedom. It is more than just a dance class; it is a safe space to learn the art of letting go.
We will practice releasing self-consciousness, forgetting the "steps," and simply allowing the rhythm to move us.
Why dance? Three powerful benefits:
- Natural Mood Booster: The high-energy beats trigger a rush of endorphins, instantly lifting your spirits.
- Stress Release: Physically "shaking it off" is one of the fastest ways to release held tension and anxiety from the body.

Horizon & Headspace: A Mindful Coastal Walk & Landscape Session

We will focus on finding the beauty in the expansive view—from the texture of the sand to the endless horizon—using our smartphones to capture the light and scale of the coast.

Landscape photography is an active tool for perspective taking—the ability to shift your viewpoint to gain a deeper understanding. This practice offers two major benefits:
- Reduces Overwhelm & Gains Clarity: By stepping back and viewing your current situation against the vastness of the sea and the horizon, it helps us mentally gain clarity and feel less overwhelmed by daily stressors.
- Enhances Creative Problem-Solving: Taking a new angle on a familiar landscape—shooting from low down, using leading lines, or capturing a reflection—trains your brain to see matters from a new direction, opening up possibilities for new solutions to familiar situations.
After the walk, we will stop at a local spot to enjoy classic fish and chips. Please note that food and drinks will be at your own cost (cash/card recommended).
