Movie night! Soirée Cinéma!

Welcome to the new-and-improved Montréal International Cinema Club!

We will be meeting on Sunday at 6:00 pm at the anticafé Montréal at 294 st. Catherine, located 3 minutes from the Place des Arts metro station on the Green line or 5 minutes from the Place d'Armes metro station on the orange line.

The films for this event are

2. On Body and Soul (2017), Ildikó Enyedi, Hungary, 1h 56m
3. Bloomin Mud Shuffle (2015), Frank V. Ross, United States, 1h 15m

At 6:00, I will begin introducing the films. We will watch a trailer for each film, and then we will take a quick vote. The film that gets the most votes is the one we watch!

Following the films, there is an approximately 30 minute discussion period. Snacks, tea, and coffee are provided.

The cost of the group is $10. Payment takes place at the end of the discussion period. Cash is preferred!

Bienvenue au premier événement du nouveau et amélioré Ciné-club international de Montréal !

Nous nous réunirons le dimanche à 18h00 à l'anticafé Montréal au 294 rue Catherine, situé à 3 minutes de la station de métro Place des Arts sur la ligne verte ou à 5 minutes de la station de métro Place d'Armes sur la ligne orange.

À 18h00, je commencerai à présenter les films. Nous regarderons une bande-annonce pour chaque film, puis nous procéderons à un vote rapide. Le film qui aura obtenu le plus de votes sera celui que nous regarderons !

Après les films, il y aura une période de discussion d'environ 30 minutes. Des collations, du thé et du café sont fournis.
