The Fourth Way teaches that there are three kinds of love: instinctive, emotional — and conscious love,…the third kind, which is developed through conscious efforts and direct contact.

Love goes beyond knowledge, goes beyond solitary efforts, to join with others to reach new heights. This is why a group exists.

This is not a reading circle. Meetings are practical: exercises in attention, self-observation, honest exchange. Between meetings the work continues in daily life — which is where the Fourth Way lives.
