Coffee House Writers Group

Welcome to the Coffee House Writers Group!

This group was created in November 2022 to write, collaborate, provide feedback, and discover fellow writers/filmmakers in the bustling city. We know life gets in the way sometimes, but finding time to write with peers always feels like a treat.

The main focus is on screenwriting, but it is open to other mediums. Writing can be a challenge. We're gifted and determined to write our stories.

The format is bi-weekly, with options of meeting on alternative days or weeks.
We usually meet at 1 PM at a set location:

- P&T Knitwear
- The Chai Spot
- CitizenM (varying locations)

The meet-up format is as follows:

1. (Introduction): What we're writing about, goals, watching/reading, life, etc. Share one interesting thing—a story, movie, book, etc.
2. (Write): 30-45 minute session
3. (Break): Open to talk, discuss or gain feedback
4. (Write)
5. (Break)
6. (Write)
7. (Goal Setting)

Depending on the day, we sometimes go out to eat afterward, but we're open to keeping things light. We're also looking to host events outside the group. Feel free to reach out!
