Mack's Peak to Mack's North with Rappel descent

Hiking Mack's Peak to Mack's North in the Mt. Charleston area is an exhilarating adventure. The trails offer diverse landscapes, from lush forests to rugged ridges, with breathtaking panoramic views. Reaching the summits rewards you with a profound sense of accomplishment and the serenity of Nevada's stunning wilderness, making this hike an unforgettable experience.
You must be comfortable with rocky terrain and traversing narrow, loose and uneven terrain.
As this is a strenuous hike, the group will be kept small.
We will be of offering the 170’ rappel descent off Mack’s North. This eliminates the longer, looser traditional descent. If you are qualified and interested, please note that in your RSVP!
Meetup Time & Location: 6:30am/Santa Fe Station 4949 Rancho Dr. (East Parking Garage, 2nd Floor) We will carpool to the trailhead.
