Denver Frontrunners Run/Walk City Park Route

First Saturday City Park Run
The first Saturday of every month our runners follow an alternate path from our normal Washington park run. We start at the Dora Moore School on 9th and Downing and run a 6 mile route along the City Park Trail and back!
Here is the route;

• We start at our normal location at Dora Moore,
• Continue directly north along 9th Ave,
• Run east to 16th Ave via Cheesman park and Gilpin,
• Head north along 16th into the East High school campus to the east side of the sports field,
• Head east into City park through the traffic singly along Columbine and 17th
• Follow the city park road as it continues southeast and around the park to Steele Street.
• Cross 17th at the traffic Signal on Steele Street.
• Return west along Steele Street to 11th.
• Continue south on 11th and the along the southern trail in Cheesman Park to 9th Ave.
• Return to Dora Moore School along 9th Ave.

Please Note: To Cross Colfax safely, at Mile one, use the crosswalk on Williams Street.
Stay on paved paths in City Park.
To Cross Colfax on return, cross at Steele then go one half -block east to remain on Steele.

After Run/Walk Social Gathering at Buzz Café on 6th and Marion: After our runs and walks we walk three blocks south from the school to the Buzz Café where we enjoy coffee and each other.
