Beccles/Geldeston kindly led by Tony 7/8 miles

Hello, please join for a walk kindly led by Tony, one of our members. We will meet at 10.30am for a prompt start from Beccles Quay by the coffee shop and toilets, on Fen Lane, Beccles, NR34 9BB. (parking is available elsewhere at Beccles Quay car park, pay/display or on street parking) Allow a total of 4 hours to be on the safe side, we will hopefully will be back to the cars by 1.30pm. Best to google the area before heading out!
The walk follows the River Waveney to Geldeston Locks, and returns via Angles Way with only a very minimal section of road walking. A short break at the Lock Inn on route will be taken, so, please bring a packed lunch for this break. After the walk, there are plenty of opportunities for refreshments, a pub or a good cafe or two in town. Sorry no dogs allowed on the walks. New faces welcome if you feel confident in doing the distance for a free trial. See you there!
