πŸŒ— The Theme: This journey is about recognizing and reclaiming the disowned parts of yourself, including those patterns, emotions, and talents that have remained under the radar in your life. In doing so, you unlock the full spectrum of your emotional landscape, transforming challenges like anger, grief, and fear into power, deep connection, and insightful understanding.

🌿 The Experience: In this 3-night, 4-day retreat in Nagano, we will be combining mindfulness, shadow work, and emotional release to bring us closer to our true selves. This is not your average retreat, and will include pair work, group exercises, and inquiry. We will use a range of techniques like Focusing, IFS, Mindfulness, Active Meditation, Yoga & Breathwork, and Forgiveness Practice.

🏞️ The Setting: The retreat will be at the serene Iramu Karapute center in Nagano's wilderness, surrounded by the beauty of the Japanese alps. Food is cooked by the local staff and sourced from their gardens. Veggie options available. Max 10 people. πŸ™‚ Pics of the place

  • Day 1: "Ritual." Arrive by 5pm on Sunday Nov 15th. Opening Ceremony. Give up phones. Burn the Mask.
  • Day 2: "Catharsis". Yoga. Breathwork. Emotional Release. Meditation. Barefoot walk. Onsen. Pair work. Evening talk.
  • Day 3: "Truth". Yoga. Shadow Work. Forgiveness. Pair work. Group Exercises. Mandala. Meditation. Evening talk.
  • Day 4: "Integration". Yoga. Meditation. Eye-contact. Wholeness. Sharing. Leave to Tokyo by 2pm on Monday.

✨ Included:

  1. Room (shared with a curtain in between, picture)
  2. Three healthy & delicious meals a day. Light breakfast.

❌ NOT included: The cost of transportation from Tokyo to the retreat center is not included in the price. The easiest way to get to the center is by shinkansen from Tokyo to Hotaka station. This is 7,500 yen one way.

  • Comfortable clothes; sweat pants, yoga pants, hoodies.
  • Warm clothes - it will be cold this time of year in the mountains!

πŸ“ Location: Iramu Karapute and location on Google maps. Get to the center by train from Tokyo to Hotaka station, about 4 hours from Tokyo. The retreat will provide free car transportation from Hotaka station to the center at 4:30pm Friday, meeting at Hotaka station. If you plan to arrive earlier or later, you can get a taxi from there to the center. If taking a car directly there, parking nearby is provided free of charge.

About Your Guides:

Misha Yurchenko is a Tokyo-based certified, trauma-informed meditation teacher with 10+ years of experience. He has spent time on retreat around the world and practiced a range of techniques. After experiencing extreme burnout from his venture-funded startup, he founded Tokyo Mindfulness and is dedicated to helping others break free from themselves. He takes an integrated and practical approach combining meditation, breathwork, and nervous system healing to help people let go of the ego, release old habit patterns and find inner freedom. He is the author of several books and lives in Nerima with his family.

Yoga teacher - Yu Mizuno is a dedicated yoga instructor from Osaka, Japan, fluent in both Japanese and English, and celebrated for his holistic teaching style. Yu has spent time training in India and his classes integrate asana, pranayama, and meditation. He shares his experiences on Instagram at @just_be_yu_self.
