Weekly Meditation Sessions

This week, we’ll explore the ability to be mindful of thoughts. Starting with mindfulness of the body and breath, we’ll gently apply the same principles of observation and curiosity that we use in our usual breath meditation practice. From there, we’ll explore how this approach can be extended to the arising of thoughts.

These mindfulness, insight and metta meditations are designed to be instrumental in maintaining your inner balance, resulting in more calm, happiness and self-knowledge throughout the week.

To join the Thursday night meditations, RSVP through Meetup, or by messaging Misha directly. We meet at a yoga studio in Daikanyama called Brighton Studio Daikanyama, which is located at 〒150-0032 Tokyo, Shibuya City, 渋谷区Uguisudanicho, 1−2 PAL bldg 3F&RF
You can view a picture of the location here: Brighton Daikanyama.

• Doors open from 19:00. We start at 19:10 and meditate for 45 minutes, followed by some casual discussion. Please be on time.
• Guidance will be provided!
• Meditation cushions are available. Of course, you are free to bring your own trusted pillow.

Casual discussion and tea afterwards

Bring whatever you need to be comfortable, while sitting still for 50 minutes. Even if it's your first time meditating, come on and give it a try.

Price: Our regular sessions are 2,000 yen.
Sustaining Members: Free (get a membership here)

After the session, we end with a few minutes of casual discussion where you can share your experience. It's a safe, non-judgmental, no-advice giving space to share what's on your mind :)

Please be serious about reserving a spot, and unRSVP as soon as you have decided you're not going to make it.

See you there!
