We all have 'inner critics'—those persistent voices that criticize, shame, and undermine us. Perhaps it's an inner perfectionist setting unreachable standards, a guilt-inducing voice berating you for past actions, or a doubter that constantly questions your abilities, holding you back from pursuing your desires.
Interestingly, these critical parts of our psyche often have positive intentions, despite their typically negative and self-sabotaging effects. The key to diminishing their influence lies in understanding and befriending them. (Whereas we often do the opposite!)
In this session on Tuesday (public holiday in Japan), I will guide a meditation to heighten awareness of your inner critics. I will also introduce several important concepts and techniques that you can apply in your daily life to mitigate their impact. :)
Whatever your experience is, you’re welcome to join.
