Reconnect Retreat: Golden Week 2026, Azumino Nagano!
Details
A 3-night / 4-day mindfulness retreat in Azumino, Nagano. Reconnect with yourself, reconnect with each other, and reconnect with nature.
Join us this Golden Week for a slow, grounding reset in the Japanese Alps. For four days we’ll put our phones away, meditate, hike, soak in onsen, eat incredible home-cooked meals, and spend time in a small, warm community.
This retreat is for people who already meditate (or are interested in mindfulness) but feel like something is still missing. You don’t want another “self-improvement project” or another productivity upgrade, and feel drawn to reconnect with what it means to just be human…and to just be yourself.
This is not a silent retreat, and it’s not therapy. There will be guided practice + nature + reflection + relational connection + deep rest.

🌙 Who this is for
Mindfulness is not enough. We’re social creatures who evolved under the stars. We need nature, real community, and space away from constant stimulation. If you’ve been meditating indoors — often alone, often through an app — and it still doesn’t translate into deep rest or real connection, this retreat is for you.
🧘♂️ What we’ll do
Over the four days we’ll blend:
- guided meditation (grounded, embodied, practical)
- nervous system + presence practices (not just “watch your thoughts”)
- heart practices (self-compassion, forgiveness, warmth)
- nature walks (Azumino is beautiful)
- two onsen trips (a big part of the medicine)
- light partner exercises (opt-in, structured, safe — things like eye-gazing / relational presence)
- creative / intuitive practices (movement, reflection, simple expression)
There will also be plenty of downtime. This isn’t packed like a bootcamp. Rest is part of the practice.
