Join me for a relaxed tour of the Museum of Art and Culture yapang, a light-filled gallery overlooking the parkland shores of Lake Macquarie. Enjoy exploring the current exhibitions together, meeting new friends and learning from our gallery guide as we view the diverse cultural works.
We’ll be able to chat and share our impressions of Wakain Thamai the story-telling prints of Torres Strait Islander artist Billy Missi, the Landrelation sculptures of Tricia Flanagan about the intelligence of nature and the environment, and Conversations by Michèle Heibel highlighting the importance of our connections through all stages of life.
There'll be time after to relax and enjoy conversation together with a coffee or something to eat at the Gallery Café.
This is a family friendly event. We’ll go ahead whether it’s sunny or raining.
