To access the House for this tour, please follow the signs for the North Entrance (not the South to the Garden Centre). This is clearly signposted from the road.
Once you have turned into the North Entrance, please follow the road up to the black gates which will automatically open upon approach. From here, you can follow the road around to the left to access the car park. Once you have parked, please make your way down to the main steps of the House where your guide will meet you. We recommend arriving roughly 5 minutes early so the tour can start promptly.

During this two hour upstairs, downstairs tour, you will explore the stunning State Rooms and discover the family seat of the Earls of Bessborough before walking up the main staircase, normally closed to visitors, to see the beautiful Bessborough Suite.

You will then move downstairs to discover the fully furnished Servants Quarters, described by one visitor as ‘one of the best I have seen in England.’ As you learn about the individuals who once lived and worked on the Estate, you will have the chance to visit the undercroft destroyed by fire in the 1900
