Wide Sargasso Sea Discussion

Please join us for a discussion of Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys. Wide Sargasso Sea, a prequel to Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, explores the backstory of Rochester’s first wife, the enigmatic Bertha Mason, aka the Mad Woman in the Attic. We’ll be meeting at Hamilton’s Kitchen in the Alfond Inn; valet parking is validated at the restaurant, or you can use any of the public lots in the area. If possible, please bring cash to pay for your meal, as we’ve had some issues splitting checks among more than four people. Otherwise, it’s a perfect venue with quiet spaces for discussion!
