Talk Title: Building a Fast Document Store at Scale with SQL access

Aerospike is a real-time database platform that provides low latency predictable performance at any scale for multiple data models including JSON documents. In this session, we will demonstrate how a large-scale JSON data store can be built using Aerospike. We will describe the various options to model JSON document collections. We will use the API to build a demo document store, and exercise the CRUD functionality to retrieve, update, and delete documents using JSONPath syntax. We will show how to query a document collection using a filter and secondary indexes. We will also demo how Trino/Presto can be used for SQL access and federated queries. We will briefly describe key capabilities of Aerospike you should know when building a fast large-scale document store.

We will be meeting in the DRW office, 540 W.Madison 25th floor.

This is a high-security building, which means the names of all participants should be communicated not later than 8 AM on the day of the event, and you will need to present a government-issued id to get in
