** Sunrise Hike**Sunrise Mountain West Loop

Join us for a scenic sunrise hike on the Sunrise Mountain West Loop! We’ll be leaving at 6:00 AM sharp to catch the sunrise, beat the heat, and enjoy cooler temperatures, beautiful morning light, and peaceful desert views before the day heats up.

This loop is about 5.8 miles long, takes around 3 hours, and climbs about 866 feet. We’ll be keeping a slightly faster-than-normal pace to make sure we stay ahead of the heat and finish before it gets too hot. The trail winds through the beautiful desert with rocky paths, desert plants, and wide views of the valley. Along the way, we’ll enjoy fresh air, open space, and stunning views from the mountain.

For the most accurate directions, please click the map in the “Location” section of the event. Sometimes copying and pasting the address may not take you to the exact trailhead.
Please bring plenty of water and wear proper hiking shoes. Trekking poles can also be helpful on the rocky and uphill sections of the trail. It’s also a good idea to arrive 15–20 minutes early, as parking can vary depending on how busy the trails are that day.
