Join us for a self-guided tour of The Liriodendron Mansion. There is no fee for admission and no reservations are required. Built in 1898, it was the summer residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Medical College. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 2nd floor of the Palladian mansion houses a free Art Gallery, and the Ice House on the property is home to a Prehistoric Native American exhibit. The 108 acres of grounds are open for public use daily. Park in the smaller upper lot, directly adjacent to the Mansion.

We'll enjoy brunch at Z Vault in downtown BelAir. Menu

If we have time on the way home, we can stop at Tudor Hall, the childhood home of President Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth. 17 Tudor Lane.
