Festivus for the Rest of Us

Holly and the Not Yet Dead Gals Meetup Group has graciously invited us to their Festivus event on December 20th. (Several of our members have already signed up for Holly's event.)
Festivus is a secular holiday made famous by Seinfeld. It is celebrated by 4 activities: (1) A Potluck meal (2) Airing of grievances (3) Feats of strength (we will have a thumb wrestling contest) and last (4) A group photo.
POTLUCK:
Festivus is SUPPOSED to be celebrated with meatloaf, potatoes (mashed, potato casserole, potato salad, etc.) green beans (casserole, or whatever) and cookies. Please consider bringing one of these items. Not everyone likes meatloaf or green beans so, yes, substitute something you think would be appropriate if necessary. Holly is trying to avoid 12 veggie trays.
Beverage: The VFW has a cash bar in a different area which we are welcome to visit. Holly will bring plates and cutlery.
