About us
It is very important that we all make sure we can receive MeetUp messages on the fly in very short time.
Sometimes its necessary to contact members about an event - and sometimes that's within short hours of the event (like an hour or 2 or 4 before the event) - to check that you're still attending or whatnot. We've had where our members do not get messages - or don't respond to them - and as I hope you understand, that makes it close to impossible to run this group of over 500 people well enough to be fair to all of us and certainly to be considerate of the restaurants we attend.
I like to think of us all as friends - even if we're still to have met - and its best if we are all on that same page.
Join us to discover, and rediscover, restaurants in the Atlanta area. If you are up for some adventure, we will also plan some great foodie trips beyond Atlanta. So great food, great conversation and new friends? A winning combination. We keep our events small, so expect dinners for 4-8 members only.
What do we ask in return? That you check out the menu and check your calendar before signing up. No last minute cancellations, and definitely no "no-shows". It's unfair to the rest of the group AND to the restaurant. Anyone canceling same day or not showing up will be removed from the group. Policies may change for certain events so make sure to read the fine print!

Zakia Lebanese - Buckhead
Zakia, 3699 Lenox Rd NE, Suite 3, Atlanta, GA, USI haven't scheduled something in a few days, soooo......
I pass by this place often when going to our events. It seems pretty good, so let's check it out! Who doesn't love Lebanese??
Please come out and dine with us...? Here's a link to the restaurant: Zakia Buckhead
From the restaurant:
The namesake and concept is inspired by the Akly brother's grandmother, Zakia. The dishes featured are heavily inspired by family recipes and are similar to plates that the brothers grew up loving. Executive Chef Michael Schorn, in collaboration with Ian Winslade, have updated those classic recipes with a modern interpretation. Together, they have brough the bright, fresh flavors of Lebanese cuisine to Atlanta. Featuring dishes such as Stuffed Grape Leaves, Grilled Quail, Fried Kibbeh, Labneh and a selection of kabobs, every option will be reminiscent of modern Lebanese fare.
