The April ride is another with all the best southern California has to offer! Valley's, foothills, mountains, the desert, alpine mountains... and fun twisty roads connecting all of them! Don't miss this day of motorcycle bliss! We will meet at the dealership at 9 for a brief meeting, KSU at 9:30. First stop an hour in for fuel (so show up full!) Next stop in Palm Springs for lunch at the world famous Sherman's Deli. After lunch we'll go up to Banning and up the Esperanza Firefighters Highway (243) (I was a Strike Team Leader on the Esperanza Fire in 2006 when Engine 57 was over run, killing 5 firefighters.) We will stop in Idyllwild to take in the sights and then continue home back to Temecula.
Be sure to check your tires - tread, pressures, general condition. Wipe that bike down and put your hands on all areas of your bike and check it over - your bike deserves a little love and a good once over. Better to find a problem in your garage than on the side of the road!
Be prepared for all temps - we will be going through all micro-climates on this ride (not sure what the weather will be) but be prepared. As always, bring water. Our last desert ride had some issues with dehydration - take it seriously!
I hope you can join us, this is a great ride!
