September Chapter Ride - Morongo Pow Wow!

This month we are not only going to take an awesome ride through the mountains, we are going to experience something intertwined in the heritage of our motorcycles namesake - a Native American Pow Wow!
We will have a brief meeting at the dealership at 9, then head up to Morongo via Idyllwild and Hwy 243. There is an Indian market, singing and dancing, and drumming all happening at the pow wow. There is also food available so we will have lunch there. I'm looking forward to a Navajo Taco!
For the return trip I have a couple of options depending on weather and temps - 1. Around to Palm Springs and up the Palm to Pines back, 2. Backtrack the way we came, 3. Take the Freeway back. We will decide on the day.
