About us
Girl Flock Party is a boutique social organization and women’s network based in the Austin area. Created by local mixed media artist Melanie Allison as an extension of her online gallery, it operates as a small community initiative rather than a business or non-profit.
The organization is named after its signature gala event, which serves as a powerhouse for networking, brand awareness, and female empowerment, as well as a fundraiser for our annual woman-owned business scholarship. Throughout the year, we provide cozy social events, peer mentorship, camaraderie, and support for women at every stage of their journey.
As a community liaison, Melanie chooses specific local charities each season to support through volunteering, collecting donations, and raising funds. What started as a local vision has grown into a thriving community, including a dedicated Facebook group of over 1,000 members.

The Homecoming Mum & Armband Challenge: Craft your own mini mum or armband at home! Express your style with hot pink feathers, glitter, flamingos, or custom ribbons celebrating your unique path (Boss Babe, Community Leader, Strategy Chic). Represent your business, passion, or just GFP pride!
Crown the Queen: Wear your creation to the event to enter our contest. The gal with the most creative, spirit-filled design will be officially crowned our Homecoming Queen with a sparkly tiara on the spot!
The Backyard “Pep Rally”: We’re taking the party outdoors! Head out to the turfed backyard for live music on the stage, cornhole, pink drinks, and casual networking under the string lights.
Signature Drink: Backporch Social is mixing up a special pink cocktail just for us (no-host bar), plus delicious food & beverage available for purchase.
Great Connections: Casual, welcoming vibes with an incredible group of women. Feel free to bring business cards, samples, or any promo material from your business to share if this applies to you.
Give Back: Selecting the donation option funds our 2027–2028 Woman-Owned Business Scholarship for local female entrepreneurs. Note: standard event registration requires a separate RSVP ticket.
