Your host, Haley Fisher, is an OCT-certified K–12 educator with expertise in English instruction, literacy development, and supporting diverse learners, including ESL/ELL students. She holds a Master of Teaching from the University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and has extensive experience in classrooms, tutoring, and literacy intervention. Haley is passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their English skills, and achieve their academic goals through practical, engaging instruction.

During this event, we’ll explain what each test is commonly used for, why people may need them for education, employment, citizenship, immigration, or training programs, and how to begin deciding which option may best fit your goals. The session will use simple, easy-to-understand language and practical examples to help attendees feel more informed and confident.

This event will also include time for questions, so attendees are encouraged to bring anything they would like to ask about English testing, preparation, or next steps.

Amy Wedlock is an experienced teacher and instructor with more than 15 years of experience working with adult learners and professionals in Academic English, English as a Second Language (ESL), and corporate and leadership training.
Amy focuses on real-world English that helps learners build confidence in communication, education, work, and everyday life. Her teaching style is engaging, supportive, and practical. She uses stories, visuals, games, and real-life examples to make learning clear, enjoyable, and effective.
