Pride Month Walk and Social!!!

DATE CHANGE!! We are postponing by a week so as not to conflict with the No Kings protest

Happy Pride to our queer birding community! This month we'll meet up at Corona Heights Park, conveniently located just up the hill from The Castro – one of our country's first gay neighborhoods and the site of some quintessential queer history here in the Bay Area. Meet up with us at the park for our typical bird stroll, then opt to join us for a leisurely walk through the Castro as we stop to point out key sights. We'll end at this month's COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT - Fabulosa Books, an independent bookstore specializing in LGBTQ+ books. Should you choose, you can also purchase a book here to donate to Books Not Bans, a nonprofit working to expand access to literature by sending good books to people around the country, emphasizing queer and trans content. We look forward to celebrating queer history and the outdoors together with you later this month!
