Global 🌏Poetry Meetup Online ✨🩷

This is a fun, inspirational online Poetry group where we can share Poetry, celebrate writing of our Poetry and exchange ideas that positively resonate and enjoy the night.

The purpose of this particular group is to promote creativity and give space for people to be heard. Its primary focus is on hearing people read, recite or perform their own Poetry in a way that celebrates and nurtures. Here, everyone respects each other and listens and contributes in a way that is fair and kind to all.

As a host I can offer a space that is safe and respectful, energy that upholds the value of Poetry in the highest possible light and years of Literary experience hosting Poetry groups that are similar. I studied Literature at Cambridge University and have been involved hosting in Poetry groups for over two decades. Poetry and the Arts provide a needed and natural escape from the zing of every day life.

This is a welcoming, inclusive positive group which provides a happy escape into Poetry and a pause from the fray and buzz 🐝 of the City. 🌆

A little more about me,(incase you are interested,)~ I’m also a Primary school Teacher of 24 years specialising in Literacy and emotional regulation tools and strategies such as Ayurveda, nature inspired breathing, nature visualisation, daily sound healing and yoga for children aged 2~11 and adults. My most recent setting was a Triligual Thai Chinese English American 🇺🇸 school transitioning to IB in Bangkok Thailand. I studied Children’s Literature at Cambridge University and have written a Poetry Anthology for children and a Fairy tale with my own illustrations and photographs. They were published by XLibris in the USA. I also co~wrote a play centred around Poetry set in the Second World War, this helped to uncover the struggles of particular ethnicities during this period and was commissioned by the BBC and the political Royal Court Theatre in London. Our workshops were hosted in the theatre itself. I also wrote and performed a sequel to Romeo and Juliet at Cambridge University. I have also hosted multiple Art and Poetry exhibitions and workshops over a decade in Camden Town, London. I love selling my paintings and giving adults the chance to explore and create during Art and Poetry workshops. My idea is to collate more workshops with live sound healing online and in person. 🩷🌎
