Friction Fire!

Basic agenda: practice any and all skills related to fire making, especially friction fire like bow drill and hand drill. (I.e. rubbing sticks together to make fire). There will be oppourtunities to learn how to use friction fire kits, how to make them, and maybe some practice making kits off the landscape.

This is not a class. It's just a time and a place for people to gather and practice skills. You can bring/do whatever you want related to fire. Bring your own kit if you have one, or a piece of wood (cedar, pine, sassafrass, whatever) to make one. People of all skill levels are welcome, including complete beginners! There will be some extra supplies to practice with. Don't forget a carving knife!
