Trade Circle!

I summon you, artists, craftsmen, bakers, brewers, thing-makers, and cool-thing collectors!

PLEASE RSVP if you intend to come!

If you've never been to a trade circle before, it works like this: everyone will sit in a circle with their stuff displayed in front of them. Each person will have a chance to take the floor and show off one of their items. Anyone interested in that item will put up whatever of their items they think is a fair trade. If that item suits the fancy of the first person, you trade!

If you're the kind of person who has a million projects laying around their house and nothing to do with them, this is your chance to do something with them!

Some ideas are to bring:
Crochetted or knitted items, feathers, baked goods, homemade kombucha, sea glass, wooden carvings, candles, bow staves, cool rocks, pottery, flint knapped arrowheads, knives you forged, preserved songbird wings, sewing or embroidery projects, acorns, herbal tinctures, drawings, oragami, roadkill (skin it first or pack it on ice, please), jewlery or beads, GOOD BOOKS, musical instruments, a "1 free calculus tutoring voucher," something needle felted, if you haven't noticed by now what I'm trying to say is ANYTHING GOES

It's a good idea to bring multiple things so that you can trade for multiple things
