MEMORIAL HIKE FOR TOM ROESCH

Please join us on a special hike in memory of Tom and all those with any form of dementia disease. This hike is in celebration of their lives and love for the great outdoors. This 5-mile leisurely hike, with a 2-mile option, will take us through Avon Town Hall Park on paved trails and nearby neighborhood. Meet at the Avon Library, 498 North Avon Ave (also known as SR 267). From 1-465 W, exit on US 36 (Rockville Rd) and travel west a little less than 8 miles, turning right onto Avon Ave./SR 267. Travel about a half mile, the library is on your left. Bathrooms are available at Town Hall Park upper shelter, since the library is closed on Sunday. Meetup guests are always welcome and there is no fee to hike with us but please no pets. Meetup attendees will be joined by members of the Indianapolis Hiking Club who do not have to sign up for the hike on meetup.
Expect to start promptly at 1:30 so don't be late.
