SCARECROWS ARE COMING TO DANVILLE HIKE

Danville’s Scarecrow Stroll is a beloved fall tradition where local businesses create scarecrow displays around downtown Danville. Join us for a 5-mile moderately paced walk-about at Ellis Park, Blanton Woods (natural trails) and into the town of Danville. We’ll stop at the historic courthouse to check out the spooky and fun scarecrow displays. Meet at the first parking lot across from restrooms at Ellis Park, 600 E Main St, Danville. From I-465 W exit on US 36 (Rockville Rd) and travels about 15 miles into the town of Danville. Turn right on Leedy Dr. Possible stop at Dips for ice cream (pay your own)! Meetup guests are always welcome and there is no fee to hike with us but please no pets. Meetup attendees will be joined by members of the Indianapolis Hiking Club who do not have to sign up for the hike on Meetup.
Expect to start promptly at 1:30 so don't be late.
