DEPAUW NATURE PARK AND LUNCH

Come to the 5-mile leisurely hike , on mostly natural terrain, at this beautiful 520-acre nature park located at 1400 W County Rd 125 S, Greencastle. Features at this park are woodland trails, a lake, Big Walnut Creek and a retired limestone quarry. From I-465 West, exit on US 40 and travel to SR 231. Turn right and travel to Washington St in Greencastle. Tum left. Travel to just past courthouse and turn left again at Jackson St. Turn right onto W. Walnut St going west about 0.6 miles. The driveway to the nature park is on the left. Follow the driveway for about 0.5 miles to the main parking lot where we will meet. Meetup guests are always welcome and there is no fee to hike with us, but please no pets. Meetup attendees will be joined by members of the Indianapolis Hiking Club who do not have to sign up for the hike on Meetup.
Expect to start promptly at 10:00 so don't be late.
