Field Trips for Grown Ups

Come out and dance and/or tap some local brews and food. The Mothership band features funk, smooth jazz and soul. Seating fills up fast so plan to arrive before the band starts at 6p. I will be there at 5p and will try to hold a table but can’t guarantee you’ll get a seat. Who cares if you’re coming to dance to some funky tunes anyway? If you’re sensitive to loud music, bring some ear plugs and a smile 😊 See you on the dance floor!

Let’s play at the Albuquerque Museum for free! Multiple exhibits feature history, modern and Native American art along with Route 66’s 100th anniversary. Let’s meet at the front door before we enter and explore the museum. Wonder at your own pace and interest or bond with the group. You decide. Who can spot Georgia O’Keeffe’s masterpiece first?

Time for a Field Trip for Grownups!

We're heading up to Santa Fe to take on the Let's Roam "The Oldest Capital Comes Alive" Scavenger Hunt through historic downtown Santa Fe.

We'll explore the downtown area while solving riddles, answering trivia, completing challenges, and taking photos along the way. The hunt is about 0.88 miles and should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

How This Will Work
Tickets are $12.99 per person, and everyone will purchase their own ticket individually through Let's Roam before the event.
You'll also need to download the Let's Roam app and create an account before we meet. The clues, challenges, trivia, and photos are all handled through the app.

Depending on how many people sign up and actually show up, I'll divide us into smaller teams. I'm thinking around 4 to 6 people per team. So if 20 of us show up, we'll probably have four teams of five.

We'll get everyone into their teams at the starting point, get everything set up in the app, and then the competition begins!

Each team will make its way through downtown Santa Fe completing the scavenger hunt and trying to rack up the most points.
Once we're finished, we'll all meet back up and find somewhere nearby for food and a drink for anyone who wants to stick around.

What You Need
Please purchase your individual Let's Roam ticket before the event, download the app, create your account, and bring a fully charged phone. Comfortable walking shoes are also a good idea.

This is Field Trips for Grownups, so come ready to explore Santa Fe, learn a few things, meet some people, have some laughs, and find out which team actually knows what they're doing.
