Pecos Pueblo and Ancestral Sites Field Trip

Let’s take a field trip into New Mexico’s past.
We’re heading to Pecos National Historical Park to explore the Ancestral Sites Trail and experience a place that tells centuries of New Mexico history.

Along the way, we’ll see the remains of Pecos Pueblo, the Spanish mission church, reconstructed kivas, and other ancestral sites while learning about the people and cultures that shaped this area.

We’ll take our time exploring, reading the exhibits, taking pictures, and enjoying the scenery.

After we're finished exploring Pecos, we'll stop for lunch together before heading back to Albuquerque, so bring money for lunch.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, sun protection, and layers appropriate for the weather.
