Willkommen bei Bike & Meet Potsdam! 🚲✌️
Worum geht es in dieser Gruppe?
Lust auf gute Laune, frische Luft und ein cooles lokales Netzwerk? "Bike & Meet Potsdam" ist die Community für alle, die das wunderschöne Potsdam auf zwei Rädern erkunden und dabei ganz entspannt neue Leute kennenlernen wollen. Im Ausland ist es oft super easy, Kontakte zu knüpfen – in Deutschland manchmal etwas zäher. Genau dieses Eis brechen wir hier! Egal ob du neu in der Stadt bist, digitaler Nomade, Expat oder Local: Hier steht das Connecten im Vordergrund.
Wen wollen wir treffen?
Fahrradfahrer sind meistens super entspannte Leute – und genau die suchen wir! Unser größtes USP: Komm, wie du bist. Du brauchst absolut kein fancy Gravelbike oder teures Rennrad. Ein ganz normales Tourenrad, ein Citybike oder ein unkompliziert geliehenes Nextbike reichen völlig aus. Wer ohne Leistungsdruck in die Pedale treten kann, ist hier genau richtig.
Was machen wir bei unseren Events?
Soft-Aktiv-Touren: Wir fahren gemütliche, ca. 2,5-stündige Runden (15 bis 25 km) am Wasser entlang und durch die historische Innenstadt (Brandenburger Tor, Holländisches Viertel, etc.).
Professionelles Guiding (Kostenfrei): Als ehemaliger Biking Guide auf Kreuzfahrtschiffen (u.a. AIDA) teile ich meine Leidenschaft für solche Touren komplett kostenlos mit euch.
Networking & Drinks: Nach dem Radfahren ist vor dem Connecten! Wir beenden unsere Touren an entspannten Locations, wo wir zusammen essen, etwas Kaltes trinken und uns austauschen können.

What is the group's goal?
Looking for good vibes, fresh air, and a great local network? "Bike & Meet Potsdam" is the community for anyone who wants to explore beautiful Potsdam on two wheels while easily meeting new people. Meeting people abroad is usually a breeze, but in Germany, it can sometimes be a bit tricky. We are here to break that ice! Whether you're new in town, a digital nomad, an expat, or a local: this group is all about connecting.
Who do we want to meet?
Cyclists are usually very relaxed people – and that's exactly who we're looking for! Our biggest USP: Come as you are. You absolutely don't need a fancy gravel bike or an expensive road bike. A standard touring bike, a city bike, or an easily rented Nextbike is perfectly fine. If you can pedal without needing to set a new speed record, you'll fit right in.
What will we do at our events?
Soft-Active Tours: We do relaxed, ~2.5-hour rides (15 to 25 km) along the water and through the historic city center (Brandenburg Gate, Dutch Quarter, etc.).
Professional Guiding (For free): As a former biking guide on cruise ships (like AIDA), I share my passion for these tours with you completely free of charge.
Networking & Drinks: After the ride, we connect! We finish our tours at cool local spots where we can grab food, enjoy a cold drink, and get to know each other.
