DF303 (DeFlock 303) is the first of hopefully a national network of events focusing on privacy and fighting mass surveillance. Do you know that your daily trips through Colorado are logged and shared with agencies nationwide? That's happening now with rapid rollouts of ALPRs in our communities (map: https://deflock.me). We're quickly losing our ability to travel freely without being monitored by the government, but now is the perfect time to come together and fight it on a local level. Privacy and fighting crime are not mutually exclusive, and it's our responsibility to ensure that our leaders stop rolling out mass surveillance devices claiming its for our own good.
