Three years ago, we found something we didn’t know we were looking for: real community, unexpected friendships, and the kind of conversations that stay with you. It happened because we kept an open mind, said yes to unfamiliar things, and stepped a little outside our comfort zone.
That’s why we created The Right Place.
We’re starting by building the kind of gatherings we always wished existed: small, thoughtful events for people who are curious, open, and tired of surface-level socializing.
We’re still learning as we go, and every event will teach us something new. But the intention is simple: to create spaces where people can show up as themselves, meet people they might not normally cross paths with, and see what happens when the right people end up in the same space.
We read every RSVP ourselves, so come as yourself. And no, this isn’t a dating event or a networking thing.
It’s just people, being people, in the same room. Because we believe that with the right people, anywhere can be the right place.

THE RIGHT PLACE presents 🎃 A SPOOKY SOCIAL
This Halloween, we’re bringing together a curated group of strangers for a night of games, unexpected connections, and a little spooky chaos.
We’re taking over a retro-inspired venue with a Halloween-themed photo op, so come dressed in your Halloween best — spooky, glamorous, silly, mysterious, or completely unexplainable.
Expect a variety of games, plenty of mingling, and a little mystery along the way. As the night unfolds, you’ll get to know your fellow strangers, but can you figure out who is who when the mystery guessing game begins?
And just when you think the night is over, we’re bringing everyone together for a piñata showdown. To make the night even sweeter, we’re sending everyone home with a goodie bag filled with treats.
With themed drinks, costumes, a curated guest list, and plenty of opportunities to make new connections, this is Halloween with a social twist.
Come for the games, stay for the people, and leave with a few new favourite faces :)
