What if you could code your own Game Master powered by AI ?
Join us for a hands-on workshop where we'll build a Game Master capable of orchestrating multiple AI agents, each specialized in a different task. Together, we'll explore how these agents can collaborate to create an interactive D&D-style adventure that evolves as the story unfolds.
During the session, we'll explore key Agentic AI concepts including:
Agent tools β giving agents the ability to take actions
MCP (Model Context Protocol) β connecting agents to external tools and services
A2A (Agent2Agent) β enabling agents to communicate and collaborate
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) β giving agents access to relevant knowledge
Strands Agents β building and orchestrating AI agents with the open-source Python SDK
We'll create agents and an MCP servers that can roll dice, verify D&D rules, manage game state, and generate the story as the adventure unfolds.
No matter whether you're a D&D fan or completely new to role-playing games, there's plenty to learn. The game is simply the fun use case we'll use to explore the technologies behind modern Agentic AI.
The workshop is based on the open-source Strands Agents Python SDK and includes a role-playing game web interface where participants can interact with and test their agent.
This workshop has already been delivered at great developer events, with great feedback- and yes, our speaker may even show up in costume. π
Come for the adventure, stay for the Agentic AI.
