Patris Studio and Art Gallery

No need to commit to any long-term drawing classes because you can just drop in to any of the drawing classes!

Each session is a self-contained lesson where you can learn and practice basic drawing techniques and approaches designed to strengthen your skills. Patris will guide you with step-by-step instruction and individual guidance geared to your level of learning.

These classes are a great way to have an art-filled afternoon in a casual and welcoming studio environment.

Bring your favorite sketching materials or use the studio supplies provided for anyone needing drawing materials to borrow.

Dive into the art of acrylic painting at Patris Studio and Gallery's beginning level art class. This class will focus on learning basic skills and techniques used with acrylic paint. There will be a simple still life set up to paint or if you prefer working from your own favorite photo image, please bring it with you to class. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner looking to enhance your skills, this class is tailored to all levels.

Our instructor, Patris, will guide you through the process, offering personalized feedback and tips to help you improve your painting skills. Come alone or bring a friend for a fun, creative evening filled with artistic inspiration.

If desired, bring in your favorite painting supplies and canvas size of your choice or use the studio materials provided to complete your painting.

Participants in this workshop will create sketches from photo references and then develop a finished painting on canvas.

Either bring in your favorite Poppy photos to works from or use our photo references or use the poppy drawing template we have created for participants to get started on their painting project. Personal Instruction and individual guidance by our instructor Patris will have you unleashing your inner artist in no time!

All materials will be provided by the studio, or you are welcome to bring your favorite personal acrylic painting supplies to use during the workshop.

Then come spend a creative afternoon in our spacious studio under the guidance and teaching of Patris to complete your artwork to a skillful finish. Individual instruction provided and geared to your individual level of learning.

Bring in unfinished artwork or start a new painting project of your choice. Set up a still life to paint. Paint your favorite landscape from a photo reference or select one of the studio's photo references. Can't figure out what you want to paint? No worries--we'll set you up with a project and get you painting away.
