Making friends as an adult shouldn't be so hard, but sometimes it is!
Drinks with Friends is a Des Moines-based women's social group created to bring women together, build genuine friendships, and make meaningful connections in a welcoming, relaxed environment.
Whether you're new to the area, navigating a new chapter of life, looking to expand your social circle, or simply craving more girl time, you're in the right place!
What makes us different?
We take the awkwardness out of meeting new people! Our signature three-week meetups bring small groups of women together based on age, life stage, and shared interests. Each meetup includes thoughtfully guided conversation prompts designed to help break the ice, move beyond small talk, and create genuine connections.
We also host monthly social events, from Friendsgiving celebrations to fun nights out, giving women even more opportunities to connect.
Our goal is simple: to help women overcome the fear of rejection, feel comfortable putting themselves out there, and build friendships that extend beyond our events.
