What we’re about
At Words With Friends, we meet to share what we're reading. To grow, learn, and stretch ourselves through ideas that challenge how we think and how we live.
This is a space to ask thoughtful questions, be asked thoughtful questions, and connect with people who are curious, reflective, and willing to step slightly outside the mainstream to squeeze a bit more out of life.
Who is this group for?
Curious minds who want more from the books they read than a tick in the “finished” column.
If you enjoy pausing, reflecting, and asking “how does this actually change something for me?”, you’ll fit right in.
What happens at the events?
We meet monthly to share insights from non-fiction books we’ve read recently. Everyone brings one idea, moment, or takeaway that mattered to them.
You might share:
- how a book shifted your perspective
- how it encouraged you to act differently
- how it nudged you out of your comfort zone
Bring a non-fiction book you’ve read in the past three months that answers at least one of those. We listen, discuss, question, and let the conversation unfold.
This isn’t about reviews or reading lists.
It’s about words, ideas, and what happens when we think about them together.
