“Explore Lost Cabin, Century Lake, and the MASH Site Hike and Potluck!”

Here’s another hike to a familiar place but incorporating some lesser-known and scenic trails. This hike will be much less challenging than our recent one lol. We’ll start at the terminus of Crags Dr and take the Crags rd trail. We’ll soon take a left at the Malibou Lake Dam Spur. After taking in the view of the lake, we’ll turn around and continue left on Crags, passing the junction to the right and pass the MASH site. We’ll turn right at the Lost Cabin Trail, which ends in 3/4 mile. Spoiler alert - the lost cabin has completely vanished, however the great views of the Goat Buttes remain. We’ll turn around and make a right at Crags. After 2 quick lefts and a rt to stay on Crags and crossing the bridge, we’ll hang a right at the Century Lake Trail. After taking in the filming location of Planet Of The Apes, we’ll return to Crags, make a left and enjoy our comestibles and drinks at the MASH site. Our return to the cars is a short and nearly flat walk of about 0.8 miles.
