Please join host Janet Perlstein at Hebrew Educational Alliance (HEA) on October 21 at 7:00 pm to hear Tessa Veksler speak. She is one of the featured students in the film "October 8". The film documents the harassment and antisemitism that Jewish students on college campusus nationwide faced after October 7, 2023. As student body president at UC/Santa Barbara she faced targeted harassement and antisemitism in the wake of Oct.7. Come hear her message of strentgth, resilience and continued activism. A dessert reception will follow the presentation. The film can be streamed on Amazon Prime or Apple TV but will also be shown at HEA on October 20 at 6:30 pm.
