See all- 11am-1pm Aug 7th Pet cats and drink coffee! (& eat after)The Biscuit Factory Cat Lounge, Colorado Springs, CO
Per recommendations, I’m booking a morning session so the cats are extra playful.
Do you love cats? Love them but allergic? Just pop a Benadryl! Let’s go play with the fluffers!! And sip the complimentary coffee. You might just wanna adopt one.
The cost is $11/hr with 14 max attendees per hour. Please keep rsvp up to date.
Optional snack purchases are available.
This place even has cat movie nights! How meowin cool is that!
Oh, and even craft nights with cats!(I didn’t see any available to schedule, but that may change or we can ask the staff about that.)
The Biscuit Factory Cat Cafe is awesome. Check out their website for more details about what to expect.
Oh, and do sign the waiver before arrival.
But I’m so excited!!
After, let’s go eat at European cafe
- 10/10 🏞️🚶🚶♀️Slow people incline hike. (Like 2hrs to go up kinda slow!)🥾10 Old Mans Trail, Manitou Springs, CO
Update: on July 20th they closed the barr trail which is how we would get down. So, this event is moved to August 10. Please go to this link and register for free for the 6:30am, 7AM or 7:30 AM or 8am slots, so that we are all going to fit on this hike even if we start approximately around the same time. I understand some people may go up slightly faster and some slightly slower. We are a big group. But go to this link and sign up. It is free. Also, please go to your calendar and update to August 10 since it won’t automatically do it like when you initially rsvp’d. See you at the parking lot.
Ever wanted to try the incline but it’s intimidating and how fast most people run up? Yeah, most people go up in about 45 mins. I have friends who go every single day!! Rain or shine. That’s crazy to me. But cool cool. I go slow cause short legs. 😆. I can’t wear heels hiking 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣. I will live. I have heeled sneakers lol.
But anyways, let’s go. Let’s go slow. We can take tons of stops. Snack on our power bars and drink our drinks, feed the chip munks and don’t feel bad at all about being passed by! After we will go down on the Barr Trail and head towards the Border Burger Bar. If the shuttle can take us to eat, would be amazing! And then shuttle back to the parking lot. Even though I’d be up to walking around manitou shops, but we might be too tired so prolly not. 😅
I want to go earlier in the day when it’s cooler (it is miserable in the heat of the day). So 6:45am in the lot and get on the bus and try to start the hike at around 7:10am.
It will be so much fun! Let’s go and have a good time!
- Almost-the-Weekend Board Game Night!Lost Friend Brewing Company, Colorado Springs , CO
Come on out to Lost Friend Brewing for a casual evening of playing light board games with good beer & good food! There’s no limit on number of people, so feel free to bring along anybody you like. This is also a dog-friendly brewery, so your pups are welcome too. We may split into multiple gaming tables if necessary.
Also bring your games! We typically play fun & easy party games with rules that can easily be explained in under a few minutes and don’t last longer than an hour. The brewery also has a decent library of party games on their shelves too, so lots of options. Hope to see you there!

There's usually a food truck too! Lately, it has been Heng Heng ThaiCo, which has a variety of Thai food. If it is something different, I will post in comments which one will be there as soon as I know it!
